We appreciate your interest in our online shop. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your data.

1. Data collection and storage

You can visit our website without telling us who you are or providing any personal data. We only save the access data without any personal information, even if you are redirected from another website or a newsletter, such as the name of your internet service provider, your IP address, the date and time of your access.

The access data are evaluated exclusively for the purpose of providing a trouble-free operation of the website as well as to improve our offer, in accordance with German law on data protection (DSGVO, Art. 6, Abs. 1, S. 1 lit. f). All access data will be deleted no later than seven days after the end of your page visit.

Hosting services by a third party

A third party provider provides the services for hosting and displaying the website. This serves our legitimate interests to offer a correct presentation of our offer. All data collected as part of the use of this website or in designated forms in the online shop as described below will be processed on its servers. Processing on other servers takes place only in the framework explained here.

 

This service provider is located in the US and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Based on the agreement between the US and the European Commission, the latter has established an appropriate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

 

2. Data collection and use for contract processing, contact request, and opening a customer account

We collect personal information if you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order or when contacting us (for example, by contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such because we need these data for contract processing or to respond to your contact request. Which data are collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data communicated by you in accordance with German law on data protection (DSGVO, Art. 6, Abs. 1, S. 1 lit. b) for contract handling and processing of your requests. Should you intend to open a customer account, we use your data for opening a customer account. After completion of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the tax and commercial retention periods, unless you have explicitly consented to a further use of your data or we reserve the right to further data use, which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this statement. Your customer account can be deleted at any time by either sending a message to the contact option described above or via a designated function in the customer account.

3. Data transfer

 

To fulfill the contract in accordance with German law on data protection (DSGVO, Art. 6, Abs. 1, S. 1 lit. b) we pass on your data to the shipping company responsible for the delivery. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the order process, we will forward payment data collected to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and any payment service providers commissioned by us to process the payments or to the selected payment service. The selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves, provided that you create an account there. In this case, you must log in to the payment service provider with your access data during the ordering process. In this respect, the privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.

 

The same applies to the transfer of data to our manufacturers or wholesalers in the cases in which they take over the shipping for us (drop shipping).

 

4. Email newsletter

If you register for our newsletter, we use the data required for this or separately provided by you to regularly send you our email newsletter based on your consent in accordance with German law on data protection (DSGVO, Art. 6, Abs. 1, S. 1 lit. a).

 

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by either sending a message to the contact option described below or by using the link provided in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address from the recipient list, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use the data beyond that, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.

 

The newsletter is sent as part of a processing on our behalf by a service provider to whom we pass on your email address.

Our presence on social networks and platforms enables better, active communication with our customers and prospects. We provide information about our products and ongoing special promotions.

 

When you visit our online presence in social media, your data can be automatically collected and stored for market research and advertising purposes. So-called usage profiles are created from this data using pseudonyms. These can be used to e.g. place advertisements inside and outside of the platforms that presumably correspond to your interests. For this purpose, cookies are generally used on your end device. The visitor behavior and the interests of the users are stored in these cookies.   • in accordance with German law (DSGVO, Art. 16) the right to demand without delay the correction of incorrect or complete personal data stored with us;

  • according to German law (DSGVO, Art. 17) the right to demand the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless further processing

    • to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information;

    • to fulfill a legal obligation;

    • for reasons of public interest or

    • to assert, exercise or defend legal claims is required;

  • according to German law (DSGVO, Art. 18) the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data, as far as

    • the accuracy of the data is disputed by you;

    • the processing is unlawful, but you reject its deletion;

    • we no longer need the data, but you need it for asserting, exercising or defending legal claims or

    • you filed an objection against the processing in accordance with German law (DSGVO, Art. 21);

  • according to German law (DSGVO, Art. 20) the right to receive your personal data, which you have provided us, in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another person responsible;

  • according to German law (DSGVO, Art. 77) the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Right of opposition

To the extent to which we process personal data as explained above, you can object to this processing with effect for the future. If the processing is for the reason of direct marketing, you can exercise this right at any time as described above. Should the processing takes place for other reasons, you are only entitled to a right of objection if there are reasons that arise from your particular situation.
